On June 20th 2020, we held our 2nd annual car show fundraiser to help support the LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma society). Leukemia is a blood cancer and on average this disease kills 22,000 people per year.
Even with rain in the forecast, RTD & friends successfully raised over $5,000 in donations and 100% of the proceeds went directly to the LLS. There was a good showing at the event with over 30 cars including a large variety of hot rods, (with classics ranging from the 1940’s to the 1990’s), dragsters, monster trucks, and modern-day supercars. RTD provided the entertainment with both classic and modern-day music, burgers, brats, beer, and a 50/50 raffle. To make all of this possible, friends of the Reich family and employees at Reich Tool volunteered their time to help out at the event.
RTD will continue to raise money for the LLS, with our end goal being $30,000 in donations by the end of the year. We have been supporting the LLS for the past 5 years, and have been able to raise over $130,000 in donations! Other events that Reich Tool holds in an effort to raise donations include Taco Tuesdays, company picnics and several bike tours that are sponsored by the LLS.
