At Reich Tool & Design (RTD), our advanced waterjet cutting technology provides a versatile and efficient solution for producing components. With simple fixturing, our OMAX 80X Waterjet is equipped with a high-performance cutting head and progressive motion system, delivering precision parts at high cutting speeds with no heat-affected zone unlike laser or plasma cutting.
With the integration of nesting software, our waterjet maximizes material utilization by producing narrow kerf cuts at zero-degree angles and reducing taper, while also enabling stacked cutting. It’s capabilities include:
- 60,000 PSI operating pressure
- Cutting thickness up to 6”
- Large 78” x 240” cutting area (6.5’ x 20’)
- Taper control with Tilt-A-Jet technology
- +/- 0.003” tolerance capability
- Underwater cutting with collision detection and integrated contour following
- True Cutting (water only)
